"My Brain is full"
That sums it up right there. This was a very good Symposium. The sessions were great, lots of good discussions in and out of the sessions.
It kicked off with a great session on how we as Oracle professionals can use social media for learning, communicating, networking and advancing our careers by Jeff Smith and Kellyn Pot'Vin-Gorman.
Then it jumped into the general session with topics covering all things about Oracle performance, be it about the Optimizer with Mauro Pagano or Oracle net with Jared Still or Plan stability with Finn Jorgensen. Just to name a few. If you are a DBA, Developer, Manager or bottle washer, if you work with Oracle, this is the event to be at for laser like focus on Oracle Performance.
Richard Foote's
Q&A on Tuesday about indexes was only bested by his one day of
training on Indexes on Thursday. We were forced to hold back questions
on Thursday so he would have a chance to make it thru all of his
material, and he only just made it.
If you missed out, there will be an option for getting in on the recordings coming up soon. Keep and eye on the Symposium link on the Hotsos main page.
Start making your plan NOW for next year, dates are not set just yet, but it will be about the first week of March 2017!!
