Oracle Mergers & Acquisitions: Who’s Next?

I worked with Teradata years ago and have some familiarity with their architecture (at least what it was like back then) and I'm not so sure they would such a "Fairly Straightforward Ideas" at least from a technical point of view. They have a shared nothing approach to the data storage and Oracle is a shared everything. Merging systems like that would be tricky at best. But from a market share point of view, that's a whole different beast.

It will be interesting to see the results.
